A meeting to get acquainted
Before the wedding I always ask for a meeting, in person or online — so that on the big day we greet each other as friends.
Your wedding day
Up to 14 hours by your side, from getting ready to the end of the party — and until 3 a.m. at the latest.
Preview — in about 3 days
While the memories are still fresh, I send a preview of 100–150 photos. These are finished images — feel free to use and share them.
The full gallery — within 45 days
I deliver the full gallery within 45 days of the wedding. It’s often much sooner, though busier stretches can take longer.
Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book 9–16 months before the wedding. Summer weekends and dates near holidays go first, so if your day is set, it is worth getting in touch early.
How do we book the date?
I consider the date booked once the contract is signed and a symbolic deposit is paid. Until then the day stays open to others as well.
How many weddings do you take on a year?
Only a limited number each year, so that every couple gets my full attention. I don’t usually photograph on back-to-back days.
Where do you travel to photograph?
I work across Transylvania: I photograph regularly in Harghita, Mureș, Brașov, Cluj and Covasna counties, and I am glad to travel to neighbouring counties too. In fact I photograph more weddings elsewhere than in Odorheiu Secuiesc.
Do you work alone or with an assistant?
Alone. That is how I stay unobtrusive on the day — the heart of a well-caught moment is that the people in it never feel the photographer’s presence.
How long do you stay at the wedding?
Up to 14 hours, from getting ready to the end of the party — and until 3 a.m. at the latest. We agree the timeline in advance so that every important moment fits in.
Do we meet before the wedding?
Yes, and I think it matters. One meeting — in person or online — is enough for us to greet each other as friends on the day.
Do you have backup equipment?
I do, for every essential piece. Your photographs also live in three places: in the cloud and on two physical copies — so no single failure can put the material at risk.
When do we get the photographs?
About 3 days after the wedding I send a preview of 100–150 photographs. The full gallery follows within 45 days at most — often much sooner.
Can we use the preview photographs?
Yes. The preview images are finished, edited photographs: share them freely and send them to your family.
